Bulimia really messes with your metabolism, it might take a while for your body to get back to normal. When I first stopped purging I put on weight as well, even though I technically shouldn't have considering the amount of calories I was eating. The best thing you can do is probably to exercise regularly, if you're not doing that already, and just give it some time. As long as you don't start purging again, it's not a solution (as I'm sure you know). I've been free of mia for over six years, and I feel so much better, it's really worth it. Also, try to spread your calories out evenly during the day, in small meals, it will make it easier for your body to digest the food and will be better for your metabolism. 1000 cals sounds very reasonable.
Sorry, don't know if that helped much. I know it's really difficult to stop purging, I hope you can keep it up. Good luck, hun.

Great job! Keep it up! I know it's hard, but once your body gets used to no longer purging you'll start losing weight again!
I wish I could do that. The longest I've gone without purging in a long time is 2 days.
