Hi, all

At the risk of frightening people off, I need to give a gentle reminder that the Recovery Room forums are for just that --- discussions that concern recovering from Eating Disorders.

While we expect discussions to take wandering paths and lots of chats, it's a bit worrisome to see the occassional post that seems to be dealing with "tips and tricks" for loosing weight.

Just an example: if I were to post how to protect my throat from acid burns while purging, then that is advise and does not belong in the Recovery Room. It is not the same as the advise given to a recovering person who has damage. The intents are different, as I've gone from giving advise on healing as I recover to giving advise on how to protect while actively purging and again---it does not belong in this forum.

Another example would be to post about planning a fast in, say, the COE room. (No, I am not trying to be funny; it just came out that way)

We don't want to censor. We just want to be sure people are in the correct forums. Smile
