Here is the email I sent to wee_brian88 at hotmail.com :
| Quote: | Hi,
First of all thanks for submitting your site to my Zelda's web ring. To address your issues :
1/ your sites are currently "pending". This means the RingsWorld system didn't yet detected the insertion of the ring navigation bar into your site. When a site is "pending" it doesn't appear with the other active member site.
2/ from what I understood we are experiencing a problem inserting the code to your web page. The code to paste is "HTML Code" which means that if you are using HTML editor to create your page, you must insert this code as "raw" HTML. If you past the code like you paste text, it won't work and I am suspecting it to be the case.
So I am suggesting you to look into your HTML editor software. There is certainly a function to insert "HTML tag" or "HTML code".
Do not hesitate to let me know if you are still experiencing troubles with the navigation bar code.
Best regards, |
I also emailed you your password in the case you didn't get it, but I can't post it here. If you signed in for this forum, I can send you a personal message with this code.

Hi,
First of all I am sorry but I don't understand very well what you are saying, so please accept my sincere appologize.
However you didn't answer to the question reqarding the way you are editing your web pages. As being said, to get the Web ring code properly displayed you have to insert the following code into your page :
| Code: | <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/25.js"></script>
<noscript><div align="center">This site is part of an <a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/">Internet Web-ring Community</a> hosted at <a href="http://www.world-of-newave.com/">World of Newave</a><br><a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/25-previous.html">Previous</a> - List: <a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/#25">zelda</a> - Home: <a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/home.html#25">zelda</a> - <a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/forum.html#25">Forum: zelda</a> - <a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/join.html#25">Join</a> - <a href="http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/25-next.html">Next</a></div></noscript> |
HOWEVER you have to insert it into the HTML code. If you type it or paste it as "text" it won't work.
The above code is for your Zelda Connections site because the others sites you submitted returns a 404 Page not found message.
Now, if you don't have the possibility to insert raw HTML code into your web pages.
You can insert these two images :
| Code: | | http://www.world-of-newave.com/ir/zelda.gif |
| Code: | | http://www.world-of-newave.com/ir/zelda.jpg |
and link them to the following URL :
| Code: | | http://www.ringsworld.com/zelda/#25 |
this should look like this :
