i think im going to try to recover.. ive been talking to my dad lately, and it upsets me that ive been upsetting him with my weight. he means the world to me and is so important in my life, and i cant bear hurting him anymore.

im in a mood right now, so maybe later i wont want to.. but right now im in the mood for recovery.

okay so im really proud of myself!!

my newest plan, because i had gotten into a terrible cycle of fasting and bingeing, is to eat 2 bowls of "fiber one" cereal a day (100 calories with 1/2 cup of skim milk) and then a normal dinner with my parents, or just one normal meal a day, if i go out to lunch then eat cereal for breakfast, and then a piece of fruit at some point too (more or less depending on how i feel)

so yesterday i had my 2 bowls of cereal, for dinner i had a turkey sandwich, an apple, and grapes. and then later i had another apple, more grapes and some pomegranate seeds.

today i only had one bowl of cereal so far and 5 grapes too lol, and then for dinner i made a piece of chicken with 1.5 cups of brocolli and then i had some light icecream too. i plan on having another bowl of cereal later on, or maybe skipping it and just having another piece of fruit.

anyway, im super proud that ive stuck to my plan and i really feel this is a good way to if not recover, at least be more normal. i mean, i know its still restricting, but its not bingeing and its not fasting, so its better! right??

Sounds like you are doing well...that's not much what you eat, but it's enough and healthy. If you want to recover, you should start eating more _very_ slowly, othervise it'll be a disaster. feel free to eat those fruits, its good for you Very Happy I'm so happy that you want to do this, I can't imagine that I could do it myself.

Well done. It seems like a good meal plan you have there. My "recovery" involves still skipping meals and jsut eating laods of junk food instead. No wonder I am so flabby so quickly.

You might want to try reading up on some healthful eating plans - I recommend Eat to Live and MacDougall (both on amazon). It's all about eating a nutrient-rich diet that is great for your body and your waistline. Lots of fruits and vegetables are the way to go - salads, beans, fruits, etc.

It's important to get beyond obsessing about food so that you can live and enjoy your life - life is short and that's why your dad is concerned. He loves you and wants you to be happy and make the most of life.

Good luck! I wish you the best.
