I need help!
Subject description: Any tips you can give me?

It seems like the harder I try to stop bingeing and purging, the more often I do both, and the worse I do them. I used to maybe binge once a week on 1000 cals and then throw it up, but now it's like 3000-4000 cals every day and purging more than once. I've gained a stone in the last few months!
I don't want help as in therapists or a doctor because I can't let my family find out, I just can't. But I really do want to recover from this. Has anyone managed it? And if so, how did you do it? Were there little things you did/thought that helped you to stay on track and not binge/purge.
Please let me know, I'm so desperate!

I have done so well today - in fact, this has been my best day EVER in my whole LIFE with regards to food!
Sure, it's only one day, but it's maybe one step towards recovering from bulimia.
Especially seeing as I felt the need to binge earlier, and then to purge after dinner, but I managed to resist both

Good job, so happy you had such a great day, foodwise!
I've never had mia, the damage it does to your teeth and system scares me too much. However, I've had some serious binging problems, so I can sympathize. Try to keep your mouth busy, chew gum. I've heard about how hard it is not to purge afterwards, but if you must binge, do your best to overeat on healthier things. That way, fewer calories and less guilt.
When you feel rotten, do your best to think of today.

Well I didn't eat all day today at college, only to come home and binge on about 1700 calories and then purge.
Thanks for the tips though. I do have tons of fruit so tomorrow if (or rather, when - cos I will) I binge, I will eat tons and tons of melon!

Sorry that keeps happening to you, I know how frustrating it is
You could try planning out what you are going to eat at the start of the day, or the night before, so you have something to stick to.
Just keep trying & don't give up, because eventually you WILL start to get better
